If I didn't read fluff there are times I wouldn't read for fun at all! When the world's too much, pure excapist writing's the perfect antidote (and if it's accompanied by a huge mug of hot chocolate all the better).
Been reading The Brethren by John Grisham. I just started it and it's a bit slow going but I generally like his books so I'm hopeful.
Still chugging through Knowledge and Decisions. Not an easy read but will supposedly help me when it comes to taking the LSAT's. Recommended to me by a lawyer who said he wouldn't have made it through law school without it.

I'm at the end of The Brethren. It does pick up and get pretty good, so keep plugging along. It definitely starts slower than some of his others.
I kinda liked The Brethren. True, it did seem to move a little slow in spots, but overall, it was an OK read. I enjoy almost all of Grisham's stuff.
I love Michael Connelly's books too. Harry Bosch is a great character. He has flaws, but a deep sense of justice that I find very satisfying. I'm posting the series order so you can start at the beginning:
"With the Old Breed" - a Marine amphibious infantryman's account of the battles of Peleliu & Okinawa during WW2. Very fascinating, and brutally honest in its depiction of war and those who fought.
So, now, I'm reading The Chronicles of Narnia series. I figured since I'm going to watch The Prince Caspian in a few days, I might as well read the book first before I watch the movie. I think I'll do the same with P.S. I loveYou. I've heard it's a great book. Also, I'm thinking about reading TheOther Boylen Girl. Has anyone read this one?
