I won't tell you how because I'm just about 85 pages into it & haven't read that part yet...

I certainly don't agree with everything he said/did but after reading more about him, understand where he was coming from.

Re: What book is on your nightstand right now?

I'm currently reading against my will The Odyssey. It was on my list of books to read, but not in two weeks and then write a 3 page paper on it and answer two pages of questions.

For fun I picked up Stori Telling by Tori Spelling. It's actually very good. I always thought she was a bit of a dimwit, but her writing is good and she really tried to get jobs away from her father. Plus, she survived a verbally abusive relationship which I did not know.

I have about 15 books piled on my nightstand.
The Latest series that I have read and Loved is the "Twilight Saga" by stephenie Myer (sp) I loved it, you have to be a fantasy kind of person. It is about a girl who falls in love with a 'good' vampire they dont hurt humans. It is very good. and there is a movie coming out in November.

Just finished A Month of Summer, by Lisa Wingate. I really enjoy her books. After I finished that book, I had to go back and read Lone Star Cafe again.

Am currently reading Viet Nam, Now and it is really good. Man who was in Viet Nam during the war goes back to live in Hanoi for several years and describes how different things are now from how they were then. And finds out some things were not how they seemed then either. Very interesting, and not hard to read.

The previous book was very very good. I'd give it an A.

Now I'm reading The Prosecution of George W. Bush for Murder by Vincent Bugliosi (of Charles Manson prosecution fame). Thought-provoking to say the least and it's not light reading. I can't read more than a few pages at a time because it gets me so emotional.

I am reading Phantoms in the Brain, by V.S. Ramachandran and Sandra Blakelee. Similar to Oliver Sacks discussion of the brain for those of us who are not neuro-specialists, but like the brain.
