Night Nurses in the Community book

Ladies of the Night
This book takes a light-hearted look at district nursing in the 21 st century. While not ignoring the often sad and serious issues which occur during the work the book is written in the humorous style of the James Heriot stories, and also the hilarious memoirs of the Revd Fred Secombe, brother of famous singer Harry, the Father Brown series by Neil Boyd and tales of undertaker Barry Dyer Albin to name but a few. In the same way that other professionals have written their memoirs, confidentiality is preserved by the changing of names and locations of the stories, and compositing the characters. So everything is true, but didn’t happen exactly as reported though it is worth bearing in mind that the Royal family--whose characters cannot be disguised, have been written about in many books, not to mention the tabloid press and films have even been made about them!
