Re: Monthly Book?

How long are we going to wait for people to decide before it becomes official?

Re: Monthly Book?

How about until Thursday morning? That will give everyone who's exhausted and working a chance to vote.

So far, it's "The Known World."

Re: Monthly Book?

I vote for “The Known World” too. Ordered it already.

Links but no reviews. I’d rather read it first and find out what YOU think!

Ok. The Known World it is.

How about we come back here May 13 and start discussing it then?

Alright, start voting!
I vote for The Known World. I'll get it this weekend. Is everyone reading it? How far behind am I? When do we talk about it? Do I ask too many questions?

I don't have the book yet. I ordered it used from amazon.com but I got priority mailing so it should be here next week. I believe we have until May 13 so I think it's plenty of time to get it read. And no, you don't ask too many questions. Asking is how you get information.

Can we discuss the book in chapters? I would hate to spoil anyone's reading if they were behind. Could we say, for ex, to have chapter one read by a certain date??

What does everyone think?
