Hi,

I am interested in becoming a nurse midwife and I am trying to gain as much experience as I can. So far, I have 2 years left to complete my BSN, I am a CNA, and I am now looking towards becoming an Ob tech. At a local hospital, they require certification as an Ob tech (by the way, is Medtexx.com legit?) and 1 yr of scrub experience. Would I gain that experience as an Ob tech or are there other ways in which I can gain scrub experience? Another random question, is becoming a doula beneficial when it comes to getting in to midwifery school?

Thanks,
SimplyMeL3
