having problems

I am now 36 1/2 weeks prengant. I have been on bed rest for three months now. The doctor has taken me off of bed rest as of last week. I feel my baby dropping. I am 80% and 1 1/2cm dilated. I need have with going to the bathroom. Is it safe to use castor oil to help clean myself out? I am in a lot of pain from this.
