RPN wanting to work in Palliative Care

Hello all,

I am an RPN living in Ontario, Canada. I am very interested in working in Palliative Care/Hospice Care. I have the understanding that RN's are mostly wanted in this setting, is that true? If not, where in Ontario are RPN's wanted/needed.

Hope someone out there can answer my questions.

Have a good day

Re: RPN wanting to work in Palliative Care

This may sound really stupid - but what is an RPN?

Re: RPN wanting to work in Palliative Care

An RPN is a Registered Practical Nurse. It is what an LPN is in the states. Not a stupid question.
