Palliative care NP programs

Hi all~
Does anyone know of any Palliative Care NP programs? (or pain management). The only one I am aware of is NYU.
Do any of your hospice agencies utilize NP's?
Any input would be appreciated! Thank you all.

Re: Palliative care NP programs

The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) has a palliative care NP program. Take a look at the information brochure:

Hope this helps!

Re: Palliative care NP programs

There are several in North Carolina and we are in the process of starting one here in SC, we have to apply for Medicare Part B so our docs and NPs can be paid. Recently attended a conference that had a lot of info on Palliative Care so we are eager to get this off the ground. Good Luck.
