oncology nursing

I am interested in becoming an oncology nurse. I took a
basic course online topic of cancer.
Does anyone have any advise on how to start in this field.
I have been an RN for 5+ years mainly Med/surg. I applied for
Moffitt Cancer Center in Florida, never heard anything.
I figured they wanted someone with exp., but as the old saying
goes if know one is willing to train you, how are going to get
exp.
