At hospice team last weak, I was told that, although a patient is taking megace to encourage nutrition, Megace is not covered under the Medicare hospice program because it is not palliative but a treatment. I disagree, as I think megace address a quality of life and comfort medication. Any discussion would be appreciated. SEEUHOME
