Re: The Last Hours of Living: Practical Advice for Clinicians

I took it and passed. However, when I printed the CEU certificate it showed MD CEU's, not nursing...I thought I saw somewhere that it 1.5; does anyone still have it and can tell me?
Thanks
MC3

Yes, I did...I should probably contact Medscape and ask them why, but I have a feeling I'll never get an answer...(Sorry, bad day)...

Re: The Last Hours of Living: Practical Advice for Clinicians

I think it's a great article too. It covers just about everything from the beginning to the end. It's a great teaching for anybody thinking of going into hospice care. I myself for the last year have been thinking about opening a Hospice House. We have a Cancer Center in our city, connected to our hospital but we don't have a hospice house, close to the area. I think one about 5 miles from the hospital would be nice. We have a couple in the surrounding areas, ones like 22 miles away and the other one is about 15 miles away. I guess why I haven't started yet is because I don't know where to start. I'll take any input and/or ideas and suggestions.
Thanks in advance.
Sherry
