Introduction....

Hello everyone on this board. My name id Michelle. an LPN from near Pittsburgh. I am currently in nursing school in a hospital diploma program to get my RN. I work in personal care as a part time charge nurse and we frequently get hospice residents who are there for their last few days/weeks or months. I have found that Hospice care has been my true calling and I love hospice nursing!!! When I graduate in june 2009 I have every intention of working for a hospice agency. I just want to say thank you hospice nurses for doing what you do and I'll be joining you soon! In the meantime, do you have any advice for a future hospice RN? Is there anything that I can do now that will prepare me for hospice nursing when I pass my RN boards? Thanks!

Michelle
