I Need Peer Reviewed Reference(s)

I have heard for years, and read in several 'popular' articles, that tears of grief are chemically different from lubricating tears.

Upon being challenged on this concept, I find that I do not have "scholarly evidence".

If anyone can point me in the direction of peer-reviewed information, either supporting or refuting this concept, I would appreciate it.

Thank you in advance for your time.
