It seems to me, with my little bit of experience, that they are basically the same from the standpoint of organization, documentation, marketing and growth.....
I have an opportunity to attend two workshops very soon that have to do with passing a state inspection and marketing for success, both geared for home healths.
But we are a hospice and I am not at all sure that what is good for a home health would necessarily apply to a hospice. (I mean, I realize our goals for our patients are not the same, but what about the other stuff?)
I'd appreciate any input from more experienced hospice nurses (which would be all of you), particularly administrative types as I am a director of two foundering centers. Came in on the heels of a pretty big mess and our corporate administration is not very helpful, they seem to think it is just fine if I want to fix this! We are going to sink and drown if something doesn't happen, and I am a pretty motivated little individual....
So--advice please? TIA!
