Just checkin in really quickly.
Well, I've got to get this slope cleared of the "fox-tail" weeds. My littlest man is grieving for the dog he does not yet have. And before I can get to the backyard, I have got to get the front flower bed weeded trimmed etc.
Man on man!! Sooo, not too much exercising to be done this week. Started on the front yard today. I was very grateful to My God, as He allowed my hard work from last spring to remain. The weeding doesn't look like it's going to be as difficult as last year. The ground is nice and soft. Most of the weeds require some use of the tools but it isn't nearly like last year's experience. This year our star jasmine smelled wonderful. We grew 2 daffodil blossoms and our foxglove blossom is soo top heavy it is falling over. I am very blessed indeed.

Since tomorrow is payday for my husband, I will go to Home Depot and pick-up short trellises for 2 of my rose bushes. I think these 2 bushes are more of the vine type of roses. They don't have the same thick stems as some of my other roses.
Did I mention that I finally made peace with my rose bushes?

I've tried to intentionally kill the darn things multiple times but they kept having babies or just plain old growing back. I have waged war on my rose bushes and lost

. Even the baby-sitters have laughed

at me over the last 2-3 years, seriously. Oh well, if I can't beatem

, or kill-em

, or up-rootem , or poison them correctly

, or . . . oh, heck I don't remember everything I tried, then I'll just take care of them

.
Ahhh, well, thanks for listening to my gardening dialogue. I appreciate it.
