Ok, today was just below average. I came home from work this morning too exhausted to go workout. Woke up around 4pm, did laundry and I know I never said I would visit a fast food restaurant again but I did except this time I got a salad (mandarin chicken salad from wendy's with a tiny bit of rice noodles/almonds). Hope everyone else's day was good, i'm off to work.

Hi guys -

Ok, now that db is back in FL and my work schedule is more workable I am gearing up to get going again here! I need to pick a start date. Anyone here want to commit to a start date w/ me? Maybe Monday or Tuesday? That way we have time to clean out the cupboards and get the good stuff in the fridge, wash the workout clothes, get anything out of our way that keeps us from going to that gym or turning on the VCR or cooking that first meal.

Let me know ASAP! More than one is great!

Sure, count me in. I can start Tuesday. I've got to work Monday. I've got to do laundry anyway . Although, aren't you optimistic to assume that my workout clothes are all dirty and sweaty . I'm not promising cleaning my cupboards, though, LOL.

Mich, your Wendy's salad sounds yummy and healthy. I wouldn't consider that a step back .

Tweety, have fun at the gym. I love the gym. I even like the smell .

Steph, you have fun at the track. How do you keep track of how many rounds you make?

We're going on another walk in town today. I've got a couple of errands to run that can fit in the stroller basket and no reason the children can't come along. Other than the fact that when I'm alone I hear a lot less whining and I never touch or look at anyone in such a way as to upset them, LOL. ("Mom, she's touching me" "Mom, he's looking at me"...)

That is funny, I do have a problem with that . . . especially if I'm listening to music or a talk show.

Last night I just walked the track and was talking to a friend on my cell phone and I have NO idea how many times I walked around.

But it's functional sweat . I like the community gym I go to, too. Very few kids in scanty clothes showing off; it's pretty much a gathering of people who like to work out.

Steph, I guess you'll have to go with time exercising, not distance, LOL.

Re: Healthier Living Thread Part V

I'm seriously going to try to eat light today. I'm taking it one day at a time. Want to really loose these stubborn 10 pounds. I might just have to accept that I'm almost 50 and the hormone declines aren't going to let that happen, but I'm not quite there yet. LOL
