Hey gentle, although you're busy as a beaver building a new home, at least you're not having to build a new home of your own . We added on a few years ago and boy, was it stressful. I'd rather be outside playing than stuck indoors looking at carpet samples, UGH! Glad your toe is better . Your baseball stories make me laugh. We must belong to a much more sedate league. We have one dad who is ummm, rather involved, but the rest of the parents are very good at cheering--whether the kids deserve it, or not, LOL.
Michigan, about the Warner DVD. Is it a dancing one or more exercise? I am, to put it mildly, not that coordinated. No way can I translate what somebody else is doing (esp. when they're moving quickly) to doing it myself. Running, walking, hiking, things that I can push through, I do great at, but at classes, I'm always moving the wrong hands, the wrong way, etc.
Tweety, what movie did you see? I know you don't run so much, but I read that a lot of runners are using yoga stretching to counteract the contractiveness (is that a word?) of running muscles.
Zoe, we took care of a family member for years. It was incredibly stressful. I don't know to what degree you're caring for your dad, but make sure you take care of yourself first. There's a lot of things I wish I had known and done differently. {{{{{Zoe}}}}}
Stevie, I know what you mean about the jelly belly. I always felt sorry for the moms when I was a teenager; gee, how could anybody let themselves go like that . Now, I know exactly how that happens, sigh.

Its more toning with weights. There is some cardio but not a whole lot. I just finished the lower body portion of the dvd and it was killer. I could keep up with the pace though. I'll do the rest of the dvd later on today. I'm hungry and trying to decide what to eat right now.

Michigan, that DVD sounds good. I think I'll pick up a copy. I've got another DVD that focuses on strength that I like, but it's not awfully intense; a great one to begin with, though. But, I'm feeling tough enough to move on up . Safe enough to say from the privacy of my own home and not at the gym .

Yep . . . .I was very judgmental as a teenager. But 4 babies (the last by cesarean) means a jelly belly.

Ok, I started off the day a bit early, around 630am. I did my DanceDance Revolution playstation game for 30 minutes. I went to the grocery store and walked around for a bit. I did my Jackie Warner dvd yesterday, upper and lower body and I'm not doing lower body until Friday when I am off because my legs are soooooooooooooo sore. I wish I could get my eating under control. Sometimes I really think I am addicted to food, I'm not sure. Anyhow, had the "wonderful" idea to make a dutch baby pancake, don't know if you know what that is. Its basically 1/2 cup flour, 3 eggs, 1/2 cup milk mixed and baked in an cast iron skillet. It probably wouldn't have been bad had I put some fruit on it but I ended up sprinkling powdered sugar and lemon juice on instead. Well, I'm off to bed for a long nap before work tonight.

I KNOW I am addicted to food. Unfortunately I use it for my solace in stressful situations (like, now, for example)

So I've been eating better the last few days. I was gonna work out yesterday but I was exhausted. My legs and arms were very sore from doing the new dvd I bought. Anyhow, I work tonight and I'll be going to the gym in the a.m.
