Hi all!
Just doin' a 'drive-by' - haven't logged in in toooooo long!
Life is fine - not thin yet, not any fatter either, so I guess that's okay. Have started taking 3 classes/semester instead of 2 so I can try to get things finished a little sooner. Things are going okay there, though sometimes I scramble to get my homework finished in time. Just bought a house, got a good deal, but it means moving again. It's only been 6 months... not sure I'm mentally up for it, but there we are.
The dog, DH, and I need to get a walking plan going for the new locale. Weather is finally thinking of turning to spring, making it a lot more likelly. Never have been much on walking in the snow in the dark...
Later!!!!

Hi everyone,
Well, the bike ride was nice. I didn't crash into any trees, police cars, or frighten any elderly people nor squirrels. So, all in all it was good.
Perhaps at this juncture I should mention that I had to push the bike part way because, I was going up a very small incline. Jeesh!!! Oh well, it is what it is for now.
Weight loss holding at approximately 8lbs. No weight gained, which is good. My endurance for my walks is getting better--bit by bit.
I'm happy for us all. It really is all good--ya know !!! We are doing the best that we can; and we keep pushing forward bit by bit. Somedays are good while others aren't so good. It's all good.
Gotta go.
Hmmm maybe we'll get to try visiting Leggy tomorrow. Hopefully he will uncurl and walk on ds2's arm.
My to everyone.

You are inspiring me! Have been talking all winter about getting a new bike(had to leave the old one behind when we moved, no more room in the truck at the end...). We will have a bike path near our new house in a couple weeks. Am penning in 'buy a bike' on my lengthy to-do list for the next few weeks, lol! And you are right, we are all doing the best we can!

I've been hiding out so I won't have to be accountable. Since I can't hide from myself, that hasn't been all that successful .
Now that the weather is warming up, I've been trying to walk more places. I suspect I have a nasty case of plantar fasciitis and a couple of bone spurs, so walking hasn't been that appealing.
I've missed you guys and it's good to be back . and to all of youse.

Hi Blue,
At this point I think we all need to know that we are okay. There are too many occassions in nursing that we end up being challenged for our knowledge or abilities.
We do the best we can at the moment we have.

If I could just start getting this I would be happy. I am so weak and wussy and what I eat just doesn't help either. But I am amazed at how quickly I get worn out and out of breath.

When Muffie got one she was riding all over the place! Speaking of inspiring. I miss our Muffie, I don't know why she stopped coming to AN! Pout
