Way to go Cherish!

I don't own a scale but use the one at the grocery store which is notoriously accurate. So it was strage. No way no how did I loose ten. More like 1 or 2 which I'm happy with.

Zoe - lol! I don't get as much time with the kiddos as I'd like, but I try to make each minute I have with them count. We read a lot of books at night and we spend a ton of time cuddling, even when I'm reading, I keep them on my lap or next to me. I can't wait until I'm done with school and can spend more time with them!

Have a great weekend all, I'm outta here!!!
Ah yes, I remember the cuddly-book-bed time... one of my favorite rituals w/ my son!

O.K., my true weight loss for the week is 4 lbs. I'm very very happy with that. Managed to get to the gym.

Zoe, your son surely will remember that as well.

1 lb this week - groann this is slow - but 6 lb altogether for the month, I guess that is ok.

I got to speak to my son tonite, woo hoo! He is in my good graces now heh heh ... (a little too long between phone calls!)

Good to hear ds is in good graces. 6 lbs is excellent for the month Zoe. Experts agree that 1-2 pounds a week is healthiest and stays off easier in the long run. Slow and steady.

I'm going to yoga class this AM.

Hi all- I would like to join in if I can. I'm trying to lose baby weight. My youngest is almost 2 now, and it's time. I started my diet change last week, and have lost 3 pounds (woohoo!) by decreasing my calories by 500, taking the stairs at work instead of the elevator, and walking during my lunch hr (I don't work at the bedside any more).

I really need to get on an exercise program. How do those of you with children make time to go to the gym?

Thank you Tweety you sweetie (what a poet eh?)

I got the urge for something sweet tonite so I sliced an apple (w/skin on), put cinnamon and splenda on, and micro'd it for about 1 1/2 min - delicious Wanted something "badder" but it did the trick.

I think about all the stuff, and the kinds of stuff, I used to eat, esp at nite, and I am baffled that I didn't weigh a lot more!

Congrats on the yoga, still going to the brutal one? Is this the "hot" yoga you described last year?

Splenda isn't the GREATEST thing for us, but I think when I am craving 10 servings of we-won't-say-what, it'll do, it'll do LOL
