Tweety - you are right, pharm is not too bad so far, just too many distractions during the first 10 days (just did a 600 mile move - you have to pack every toothpack for one trip, instead of making multiple cross-town trips - more stressful!). I am actually enjoying the reading material - author can be pretty entertaining at times. Who would guess.
Strong work everyone, with all your losses! I am down 3 lbs!!! Add that to everyone's total - what are we up to as a group?
Have a good week, all!

Men of your weight shouldn't be so restrictive without medical supervision, and as you have found it doesn't necessarily equate with weight loss. Rev up your metabolism by adding healthy snacks and eating five times a day. Lastly don't beat yourself up for not losing weight this week by upping your weight loss goals for the next week because you might be setting yourself up for failure. Realistic healthy weight loss goals of 1-2 lbs a week is fine. (It's funny I was watching Celebrity Fit Club and they say this in one breath and in the next say "your weight loss goal is 5 lbs".) End of lecture.
I'm off to the gym here in a few. As I say I was lazy towards the end of the week. I'm having a bit of trouble with being consistent on a daily basis and I seem to sabbatoge towards the end of the week, negating and gains (or actually losses) I've made. I have to take a look at that. Working 5 days in a row might be harder than I think.
I'm just not that much of an eater. There are some foods that I love and do eat too much of when I have them, such as pizza and chicken wings, but in general, I do not eat a lot. I didn't start eating breakfast everyday until nursing school. Now, I find that on my days off, I've went back to not eating breakfast. I still eat breakfast when I go to work, but that is only 3 days a week. I agree that I shouldn't up my weight loss goal for the week. And yes, it is funny when celebrity fit club judges say "your weight loss goal is 5lbs."
I appreciate everyone's support. I wish everyone continued success!!!!

Wow guys, how awesome! I have only lost a pound this past week, but alltogether I have lost something like 50 since the beginning of last summer and seem to be yo-yoing in about a 5-lb range right now. I wish I could remember my starting weight, but I torched it somewhere, darn-it, what was I thinking??? Well anyway, either way since I am measuring more in clothes sizes than lbs, I have lost 4 dress sizes (the ones that skip a size in between, so 8 size by size sizes or 4 two-size at a timers if that makes any sense) so WooHoo!!! I have only one more size to lose (or two depending on how you are counting) to be back to the size I was when I got married - yeay! I still thought I was heavy then, but right now that is my goal and I'd like to make it by my anniversary which is December 5th.
Well y'all, off to class. Have a happy, healthy day!
