Thanks a lot you guys. Tweety, when I reach my goal, I fully intend to incorporate "good carbs" like beans and non-refined grains back into my diet. I can't wait, but I still have some work to do.
Jess - glad I am not alone. Thank goodness the holidays don't last all year (I am like you - I used to not even think about eating a pie and a half in one night - now I feel guilty about a piece of cake - hehe - yeay - that's progress)!
Deb, thanks for the encouragement, I am trying so hard - some days are easier than others. This thread really helps keep me in check though, I think I would have failed long ago without it!
