rn2be, no harm done. I endulge frequently myself. No one's perfect and life is too short.

Lori, good to hear from you. Congrats on the continued weight loss that is awesome. You should give yoga a try. I find it challenging, but a the thing about yoga is you do what your body tells you. If the instructor says put your foot in your ear and you can only bring your foot to your knee, then you bring your foot to your knee and stop there. I love it.

Sarah congrats! You'd better try stress-relieving techniques and get them down pat now. LOL

Yoga is a good way to exercise and destress at the same time, I recommend it too!

So on my hunt for knowledge about fats, I'm trying to find out which products are better than others for when I have a craving for something salty. Any chips recs? I read that Frito just changed up their formula to cut saturated fat way down...anyone try the new chips?

Re: Healthier Living Support - Part III

Wonka when I was on my diet they allowed baked torilla chips and I tried the Doritoes baked chips (but had to weigh out a certain amount) and like them o.k. By the time I finished the bag several weeks later I had even gotten to like them.

I was good today and went to the gym to do weights and 40 minutes of aerobics. No junk food today.

here is the nutritional info on one of my favorite salty snacks:

i really like a lot of the cape cod products.

edit: tried to copy the baked lay's info and it's not working - here's a direct link to that site: http://www.fritolay.com/fl/flstore/c...ucts_baked.htm

Just saying hi! Moods are staying pretty steady, some anxiety and depression but DEFINITELY better, thank God! I did start doing some trial work periods this week in SPITE of that! (I have been out on disability for bipolar and anxiety disorder). Starting REAL slow and working my way up.

Unfortunately, being on depakote shuts off the signal you should receive when you have had enough food, and also, financially, I haven't been able to get the quality of food that would help me with weight loss. I've gained 12 lb since January. With beginning work, the $ will be better AND I will be more active.

t was BEAUTIFUL! here in Maine last week, I was more active and I hope to continue! Yeah right, little fitness angel, that's me! ROFL!

Well anyway, I have been reading you guys' posts and wanted to check in! xoxox
back Zoe. You have been missed.

Those look good rn, I don't think we have them around here. But I'm going to starting looking.

The sodium content seems a bit lower than other chips.

Thanks! LOL - yeah, no kidding! I am so excited, but I do think I'm going to have to schedule time just to breathe - hehe.

Well, I was doing pretty good, but indulged on some popcorn last night. Ugh - too much of it actually and about made myself sick. Oh well, back on track today - as soon as I feel like eating again.

That's exactly why I like them so much. They have a nice salty flavor and they are crunchy but very low sodium compared to most snack foods.

Re: Healthier Living Support - Part III

Good morning. Yoga kicked my butt yesterday, literally, he decided to work our hips and butt.

I'm off to the gym. Yesterday I made some good veggie fajitas but am at a loss as to what to cook tonight. I'm in a bit of a vegetarian rut because I'm so busy with work school.

Hope everyone is well.

Re: Healthier Living Support - Part III

Good morning Tweety. I am relishing in my few days off before classes start and it is good. Veggie fajitas sound fantastic - I might have to give that a whirl! You could always do a tofu/veggie stir-fry for something quick and easy. My Mom used to make those when I was younger and despite the fact that I thought tofu was gross (as most little kids do), that was actually pretty good.

I went for a walk yesterday evening as my exercise - very refreshing. Will do that again tonight. Last night we ate tacos. I was really good and crumbled up one shell with a little bit of meat and cheese on top and then drowned it with a ton of lettuce and some salsa. Very good and not too bad for me since mine turned out to be mostly salad.
