Re: Getting in shape/Losing weight in pre-nursing/NS support thread

I had and ok week yesterday I did not get to exercise at all. I have stayed within points for WW. I could have made better food choices for diner on Wed. and Tue. but even with what I chose I was ok on points. Guess that is one of the things that made me to decide to do WW.

Maine I hope you feel better, Good luck with the last test this week next week will be better for you.

Piglet good luck hope next week is less stress for you at work.

Fuuchan thanks for tip of the green tea leaves. Where do you get them? I find my self weighing in daily too, but I'm one that can flucuate 5+ lbs between days. So sometimes it is discouraging.

Good luck to everyone in the coming week........

I really wanted to go walk in the park, but there is a tornado watch in my county until 10 tonight and there are warnings in the counties all around mine!

so, it doesn't look like i will get to go walk tonight...guess I will try to double up tomorrow!

Re: Getting in shape/Losing weight in pre-nursing/NS support thread

So...since the weather was so nasty and i dont have any food in my apartment and didnt want to get out to go shopping...my boyfriend suggested that we order pizza. big mistake. needless to say, i ate it...and it was pineapple! (not that it makes it any healthier). ha. so, after i ate it, i could feel my body rejecting it because I have not had any greasy food or anything like it all week. i've only had relatively healthy food. so, i felt so gross and so terrible after i ate it, that i waited out the storms and went to the park and walked 2-18 minute miles. I know that I probably didn't burn it all off like I wanted to, but it started to lightning and I figured that I should come home...i plan on definitely plan on going back in the morning if possible to walk a lot more.

i feel soooooo guilty. everyone be strong this weekend! dont give in!
more than likely it will make you feel sick like it did me tonight. i will not be doing that again!!! the feeling really not worth the few minutes of good taste.

I know what you mean about eating healthy for a while and then eating something like pizza and makes you feel yucky. I had mac n cheese for dinner ( i stayed within points for the day) and it did not sit well either. Tomorrow will be better for you hopefully you can get walking in.

Re: Getting in shape/Losing weight in pre-nursing/NS support thread

I did not go to WW today. My work day was so bad yesterday that I thought I was either going to quit or be fired. I am still employed whether that's good or bad is still left to be determined.

So I went to Bunco last night and had two glasses of wine and ate some of the sweets. Then this morning I just could not be bothered to get out of bed this morning to go and I knew I was not going to have a good weigh in.

Hopefully everyone else is having a better time this week then me.

Maine, I'll let you know on Monday the weight and exercise on Monday!

Re: Getting in shape/Losing weight in pre-nursing/NS support thread

Piglet - it sounds like that wine was well deserved. I'm so sorry that wok was so bad. I just woke up and will be on my way to work in just a few for an overnight shift. Maybe I'll have my glass of wine in the morning!

I haven't exercised once this week! Not once! However, the food thing has gone well so far, so next week I'll tackle the fitness aspect. Grocery shopping tomorrow, so maybe tonight I'll get a minute to work on my list for the week and plan ahead. This past week wasn't the best for planning with all the tests and the nasty cold. I'm so glad it only lasted a few days. I didn't go in last night for fear of giving all the patient's whatever bug I had, but today is so much better. The dripping and sneezing are all gone, and almost no cough left at all.

Have a nice night -
