Re: Getting in shape/Losing weight in pre-nursing/NS support thread

Hi!

Well, I think I did pretty good on my test, but I won't know for sure until next week. I hope everyone taking or who has taken tests gets A's!!

Today is my 40th Birthday!

I so want to get in shape before I get any older. I feel bad that I have waited this long.

Biggest loser was great last night. I was for sure the girls were going to be on the bottom. I was so psyched when they got the top scores. Those numbers were so amazing The most I ever lost in a week was 6 lbs. Which isn't shabby, but their numbers are insane! .I am cheering Ali on too. But, all of them deserve to win. They have all done a fantastic job. My dh gets irritated though. He thinks they should not have split the couples up, that they should have finished as teams. Afterall, it biggest loser couples. LOL...But, I understand whey they did it the way the did.

Maine, I pm'd you my goal.

I went for a 30 min walk with dh and plan on doing the same tonight. I haven't actually starting counting points, but I have been doing ok on my eating. I think I will see if I lose this week before I start counting points again. If I don't do well then I will start counting.

Good luck to everyone!! Lose big!! I can't believe I'm actually excited about weighing in Monday.

I think last nites biggest looser was the best...... My mouth fell open with the men's loss and then even further for the women's. I'm really rooting for Ali to win.She went home on the wrong terms and then to come back and do so good she deserves.
I have stayed on points for the day and got my exercise goal of 30 in. Best of luck to everyone.

Happy Birthday wishNhopNdremN:ballo ons:

bsj1970- i know exactly what you mean about thinking about food all day! haha.

i feel like that since i'm trying to avoid all junk food and fast food that it is all i want! hopefully this will get better! it really doesn't help that for now, i'm working in a restaurant...and i love all of their food.

i didn't do too bad today. did my walk/jog thing tonight...and am hoping that i just won't get hungry for the rest of the evening. those little 100 calorie packs are a life saver! cause i can't help but crave something a little sweet sometimes, and they are really nice to just grab one and tell yourself that it is all you can have, and its preportioned for you!

Re: Getting in shape/Losing weight in pre-nursing/NS support thread

Hi All,

I hope everyone is doing well. Just a little thought for the day. I was told that it take 21 days to make anything a habit....good or bad. The goal is to make exercise and eating more sensibly a habit. remember we are only on day 4.

MissRN, I agree the 100 calorie packs are lifesavers. They satisfy my craving for sweets or salty food.

Keep up the good work!

Good Luck on those left to take test this week!

Re: Getting in shape/Losing weight in pre-nursing/NS support thread

Well I'm not weighing in this week.... water weight gain and bloating are not a dieter's friend. I have managed to work out for 30 minutes on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings and, I finally joined a gym so I plan on going this Friday.

Re: Getting in shape/Losing weight in pre-nursing/NS support thread

Happy Thursday!!! It's almost the weekend!

My classes for the day have been cancelled and I've already been to the park to walk! I'm kind of afraid to weigh myself at the end of this week because I've drank so much water, and I am bloated from my period. Blaah. Now, while I study at home, I just need to keep myself busy so that I don't think about food and being hungry!
