Re: Getting in shape/Losing weight in pre-nursing/NS support thread

I just read an interesting stat about weight loss that I hope will help everyone here. It sounds easy enough,, so, I shall try it and see.

It said:
A person could lose 50 lbs in a year if they just downsized every meal by 1/4 their normal amt of food.

Let's hope so.

Oatmeal is boring, Evil cake is so much more appealing.

How about adding some nuts and blueberries to the oatmeal. It's not chocolate cake but it might help.

Also, someone once said if you have a craving, you're probably better off eating the food that you're craving. But, don't listen to me,,,I'm not doing real well in this weight loss game.

Re: Getting in shape/Losing weight in pre-nursing/NS support thread

Tullos, get well wishes from me!!!

I have been bad. I seem to be lacking any self restraint.

I chose a banana split over being healthier tonight. I mulled it over for awhile and even told dh I was torn. I want to lose weight but..I want ice cream. How pathetic. It tasted great though! Fuuchan! add ice cream to the evil list! It has some kind of evil power that corrupts all of your self will.

And from my favortie movie...Tomorrow is another day...

I hope you all are doing better than me.

Now...back to work
