Holy Freaking Cannolli....a tick? I've never had the 'pleasure' but....man...a tick?? Wow, I'm glad you got it off. I just want to say thanks to everyone. Your support means so much to me. Life goes on, yes a I know and it will be sweeter with the initials R.N. after my name.

You know, I was thinking (total side note, by the way) that nurses are like ninjas....we sneak in during the night (or day, whatever) and take care of business, plus we know 100 different ways to kill you....

Total side note #2...now I want a cannolli

Maine, I hope you are okay. I always worry about ticks. I live in Pennsylvania and deer ticks are everywhere.....so I worry about lime disease. Hopefully all is good with you.

Fuuchan....girl the Craptacular is just to fabulous! Great word to add to my vocabulary!

Big news for me....well the company I work for is being acquired...bought out see ya hasta la vista! I work for Safeco Insurance and we have been bought by Liberty Mutual. The sad part is my husband sent me an email to let me know before my own employer did and he doesn't work for Safeco. It's always nice when the employees find out last. Needless to say I am stepping up the search for a new job quickly. I have an interview tomorrow and I had a phone interview today. I just so happened to be looking when this all went down.

I hope everyone is having a better day!

I'm not doing so hot this week. I have to have oral surgery tomorrow. I have gotten a lil bit of exercise in but not much. I have been home for 2 days and have eaten all the wrong food.

I hope everyone els is having a good week.

Re: Getting in shape/Losing weight in pre-nursing/NS support thread

I haven't lost this week so far. I've stayed right at the same weight. Its very frustrating when this happens. I had a bad week last week so its probably just caught up with me. 2 more weeks and I will be done with ANP 102. I'm nervous about my grade and its stressing me out. The program here is very competitive to get into.

The only upside of my week is my daughter told me I'm skinny.... right... over 200 lbs is skinny.... She's comparing me to my ex's wife. I think she's going to think I'm anorexic when I meet my goal of 130-140 lbs.
