Re: Getting in shape/Losing weight in pre-nursing/NS support thread

Good job everyone!!! I'm so proud of all of us. That was only the first week, can you imagine what's going to happen and another week or two? All of you are doing such a great job. Thanks everyone for the info on the calorie intake vs. weight loss

Side note....how did all of you do on your tests, do you know yet?

I lost 3 pounds last week! I don't feel a difference yet but it felt good to see the scale go down. I will work harder on my diet this week and hopefully do it again.
Congratulations to everyone! Keep up the good work.

i've had a terrible day. school stress. home-life strees. work stress.
needless to say, i ate terrible foods, but on the bright side, not that much of it. so, maybe it will not be that bad.

hope everyone else had a great day!

Re: Getting in shape/Losing weight in pre-nursing/NS support thread

Hi Everyone, I would like to join the group to lose weight. I am a 2nd semester RN nursing student. Only 2 1/2 weeks to go then hopefully I can say I am going to be a third semester nursing student in the fall We have a test next week but it is just the level 2 hesi to see what areas we are weak in then the final on Fri May 2nd.

I have lost weight in the past when I have a job the keeps me on my feet then when I take a job that has me sitting at a desk all day I gain it all back and then some. I have lost 15lb since starting nursing school last Aug. I still want to lose about 35lbs. So my goal is to lose those 35lb by Sept 1st. I will be working two jobs this summer which both have me on my feet which should help but I also want to eat right and exercise. Oh and quit drinking cokes which I know are bad for me.

Stressed spelled backwards is Desserts coincidence I think not!
