Just wanted to now if anyone is practicing homeopathy.

I'm studying for a degree in Natural Health. Homeopathy is my main interest, but as I am just starting this, would be interested in other's experiences with it. Know that I use a wonderful remedy for stress headaches

I practice homeopathy on myself. I have really good luck using it to treat flu like symptoms and upper respiratory conditions. I do know quite a bit about homeopathy, but I have not had any formal training; I hope to someday!

Jeeze folks, modern nursing is a branch of modern medicine. Modern medicine is based on modern science. It is the science that has made the difference between just offering comfort to the dieing and being able to actually reverse the effects of disease in some cases.

There is no scientific base for the primery beliefs of homeopathy. There is no evidence that exposure to doses of medications in amounts that are too small to detect has any effect on the human body.

"Modern medicine" is considered so ancient by modern science that a scientist attending a "modern" medical convention would think that he'd been thrown back into the dark ages!

Do you understand what annecdotal evidence is, and why it is not useful evidence in a scientific sense?

Annecdotal evidence says a thing happened once, under uncontroled circumstances. Yes, this does mean it could happen again. But it gives no indication of how likely it is to happen again.

Been practicing for about 15 years, have learned alot about the pros and cons. It is nice to be able to give (non-medicinal) options for patients. I live in a VERY conservative state. No homeopathic practices here that I know of for referral.

I blend alternative and traditional medicine and nursing quite well in my practice (I'm a Nurse Practitioner).
