Smile Holistic nursing evidence based

Hi, I am from Chile, I am a nurse and I have a mailing list and a web site for holistic nurses.
Holistic or complementary medicine here in Chile has become a real interest for helping patients, friends, relatives and ourselves.

I'd like to know if you have any documentation of studies related to holistic medicine. I'm looking for scientific data preferably, relating to Reiki, Acupunture, Aromatherapy, etc.

Thanks in advance,
Saludable.

Good luck. If you do find any sound, double blind, scientific studies that support these therapies having curative, as opposed to plative, validity please share them.

We had a long, long debate on this which does have links you can follow.
Rest up, relax, and have patience. You'll need it to follow our somewhat spirited debate.

It would take a long time for one of us to post these studies (thousands of them), many of which are in another language. You are in for a lot of searching. However, Norman Shealy, M.D., Ph.D. and Dawson Church, Ph.D. have just written a new book called "Soul Medicine" which has a long list of studies. The peer-reviewed journal "Alternative Therapies in Health and Medicine" is also a good source of studies. JAMA has even published a few, believe it or not! Good luck.
