Cansema and B17 are helping with cancer...

I am a nurse. I had two surgeries to remove basal cell skin CA and it came back. One of my patients told me about Cansema and that her friend never has anymore problems with skin Cancer since its use. I purchased some and applied it to mine. I haven't had any further problems with skin cancer since using Cansema. I have had people email me saying that they've used it and their friends, and none has returned...even with many melanoma cases. So, here I am...I know this works, and yet I can get in trouble if I mention this to my patients. How can we really help people when the FDA bans cancer (cures in my opinion) and we have to encourage them to go under the knife.

I also wonder why our hospitals dietician doesn't recommend a vegetarian diet to our cancer patients. My patients are eating high calorie/fat to keep their weight up...but if the sugar and processed foods could kill them anyway, what's the use? The Hunza people haven't had one case of cancer. What's their diet? Apricot seeds high in B17, bread without sugar, and mainly fruits and veggies, and pure water. And they live to be 120 (many of them). They don't follow the pyramid of food groups... and..oh...they don't have any heart disease either.

Sorry for venting so long...I just see how we send people to get surgery, chemo, radiation, and drugs.... and are we really do them any favors? Yet, dare bring alternative therapies up to a doctor...and you get made to feel like an idiot.

I want to make some changes and don't know where to start...let me know your thoughts and comments please.

Thanks.

cancer alternatives

You should consider the the leaders in the alternative world such as Dr Andrew Weil, Dr Deepak Chopra, Dr Herbert Bensen (I studied under him @ Harvard) among many others. I get a magazine called "Spirituality & Healing" which points people to a new light on getting well, holistically. I have a private practice in Healing Touch & Nursing @ an alternative health center in my neighborhood, as it is in a Vitamin/herb shop. The owner really digs out the herbal remadies from other countries such as the Bahamas for clients who persue this. Graviola is a popular anti cancer, immune inhancing suppliment. check the website for more info...www.vitaminspluswellness.com The son of a hematologist/oncologist works in the shop, because he wants to learn more about the alternatives. He speaks to his father about what he learns & at least there is a communication about the options. I believe that we as nurses owe it to the clients to give them choices, whether it be allopathic (western), eastern, native, a combination (my personal choice) or NO treatment at all, only pallitive. It should be their informed decision, without our judgement. okay---I am off that soap box now!
I wish you wellness & peace. It sounds like you are on the right path with the proper diet! I understand about the dietitians....at my hospital they send post MI's straight out of the cath lab, a diet of fried chicken fingers, or a white bread sandwich with chips!! I am not kidding. & there is no limitation on soda pop. If they want it, they can have it, (but not on my shift!)
Let me know how you fair in your persuit of healing.

WENRON-
I understand your situation well. I have had the same dilemma and frustrations. I have a Master's degree, my husband has a doctorate in Health Sciences, a Master's degree in environmental health, one in physical therapy, and one in public health. He has a B.S. degree with majors in Biology and Psychology and a minor in chemistry. We get really frustrated that our society fails to recognize that people other than M.D.'s have brains and do research. The public has been effectively brainwashed to believe that if their "Dr." (M.D.) doesn't give his or her blessing to a treatment modality then it must be "hokey".

I have been in healthcare administration for nearly 25 years and know how the system works--only too well. I am sick and tired of the whole mess. Yes...why aren't Doctors EDUCATING patients regarding health promotion and a vegetarian diet? For starters, why doesn't someone tell people the real truth about mad cow disease? or that dairy products create more health problems than they solve? and the things we know that prevent cancer in the first place? Who is explaining about B17, Cansema, graviola, pH and its relation to cancer? Etc., etc. etc.? When can we HEAL people...not just load them down with drugs? Because Doctors are trained in illness and disease--not HEALTH!!! Nurses--in most places aren't allowed to promote health either--because we are bound to do only what we receive Dr.'s orders to do! And they're treating disease with chemicals. They depend on the pharmaceutical industry and that industry is a business...not a benevolence society! They're there to make MONEY!!!! The whole healthcare business is just that....business. If it doesn't make money, they can't do it. So, how much money is there in prevention and health education? Very little. Insurance companies won't pay for natural healing. In general, they won't pay for education unless there's already a diagnosis of disease. Well...I'm singing to the choir.....you know it well.

You might want to check out the Lifestyle Center of America.

I can't just go to the hosptial, home health, or nursing home and "follow Dr.'s orders" anymore...so I quit nursing. We get all these surveys in the mail asking why nurses are leaving the profession. Wow, would I like to really fill someone's ears. Since we're venting.....we can start with the basics: Drs. generally promote drugs, not true healing. We get treated like we're second rate healthcare providers, we are treated like our input is extraneous to the whole healing process... In our state, we can't even apply a hot or cold pack without a Dr's order. I've cared for an invalid mother for three years and I have more freedom to practive nursing as a daughter than a nurse. Somethings' wrong here!

I'd like to talk more--maybe we can put our heads together and see if we can figure out a way to actually HELP people heal!!!!

This board, in my opinion, is an excellent resource to discuss Health Care Issues and ways to resolve problems (as we see it).

So... I encourage you (y'all in my neck of the woods) to discuss it here. What an oppourtunity we have to do this; let's take advantage of what we have.

I overheard one of the doctor's on my unit (rehab) telling a patient who had asked her about certain herbal combinations he was taking to alleviate MS, that she didn't know that much about herbal remedies, or diet for that matter as they weren't taught about nutrition in medical school. I was tending to another pt. on the other side of screen and my jaw almost dropped when I heard that remark.

I talked with the MS patient later about the natural therapies he was taking and showed him how to use the Internet to research the pros and cons of the formuals he was taking. It was so hard, as I was being overly careful not to make any statements that might have been misinterpreted as being diagnostic/prescriptive, and ended up relying facial expressions to convey assent to his additional questions.

Does anyone out there feel that there's been any reproachment between the two healing paradigms? Is the allopathic model ready to accept naturopathy as an ally? Are we really focusing on patient centered healthcare, or has it just become even more drug-centered, with an emphasis on management of symptoms, as opposed to finding cures? Are we ready for a whole new way of thinking? I know I am.

Wenron & others basal cell

Hello everyone,
I am new here and just read a thread here from Wenron and others but noticed Wenron had wrote this in 2002. So wondering how you are doing now, Wenron?? I am curious about the Cansema and if it is continuing to help you now?
Hope all is well your way, I am just searching for options and the internet is a big world out there. All kinds of products and to try and find one that really works, I like to hear and read from real people and their experiences first.
Let me know, please, if you read this, I would like to hear from Wenron and others, anything on the subject of basal cell skin CA and your experiences. And I know it is frustrating not to be able to share with patients, your advise. That is what keeps so many people from getting into the nursing field because of the limits. People are frightened when they are diagnosed and searching for answers and help and your hands are tied, you know what can help but you just can't tell them. Arrrgggggghhhh! Hopefully, someday this will change.
Thank you in advance, for anything you might be able to share with me!
