Indian Ear/other maladies ?

HEy, don't know if you've heard of this, but when I was little there was a Dr that worked ALOT with Indian peoples, and he said that we tend to have ALOT more ear wax than european ancestry, but that we get a alot more ear aches anyway, despite the extra protection. He told my mothere he called it "Indian Ear".
Is there anything else anyone has heard of that applies genetically to Indian genes.

Thanks,
Nita J

Re: Indian Ear/other maladies ?

I did a Google search for "cerumen Native American" and it popped up a few articles related to genetic/ethnic variations in earwax composition. None of the articles I found would say that there was necessarily more or less cerumen in any particular ethnic group.
