Not from the Philippines myself....though i lived there as a little girl....and work with so many wonderful nurses from the Philippines.....I found this tribute...
Very nice. Though I'm not comfortable with the "angel" stuff, Filipinos should be very proud of their contributions to the field of nursing throughout the world.
Thank you, guys for sharing this to us in this forum. Behind the smiles that you can see in every "angel's" eyes, in the video, almost always hide the longing to come back home...admixed with the gratefulness for being accepted outside their country.
i found particularly haunting was the shot showing what appears to be a church's inside strewn with makeshift beds instead pews and up at the altar, 3 or 4 nurses kneeling...i had hoped to see more pics of our filipino nurses in action instead of scripted ad-worthy poses.... mabuhay to our nurses!!!
Indeed, a very nice video. God bless the Filipino nurses!
Let us not get tired of doing what is right, for after a while we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don't get discouraged and give up.- Galatians 6:9
