Thank you for posting this. You are 100% correct in the fact that there are no visas available for those that wish to come to the US as an LPN/LVN or caregiver. We do not have shortages in those areas, so no legal visas are being issued now, nor have they ever been.
If an nurse has graduated from a BSN program and then has passed the CGFNS exam, but could not pass the NCLEX-RN exam, you may see some of them working as the LPN; but they were petitioned on the basis of having passed the CGFNS exam to begin with. And another reason why most employers are wanting to see the NCLEX-RN exam passed before they will even start petitioning procedures for anyone.
Coming over to the US on the H2-B is actually immigration fraud and if you see any of these so-called schools still advertising to do this, then please report them to the US Embassy there in Manila right away. That is completely illegal and those that came over under that visa, and are nurses, are being deported now.
But of course those wonderful and upstanding schools are not going to post about that.
They all belong in the Hall of Shame.
