Re: Saudi- MOH

hi Lawrence,

I think you're right! no wonder why many filipino nurses wants to leave this country! I hope the gov't will take some action regarding this matter....seriously!, I thought after having paid from my expensive tuition fees in college, it's my turn to earn some money from my nursing job, but i guess I'm wrong, well that's the reality and I must accept the it.

I'm just wondering why the gov't wants to pursue that kind of proposal to the filipino nurses, even though they can't even accommodate all the nursing applicants here.

anyway thanks for the advise and God Bless us!

Re: Saudi- MOH

I went to poea to apply. I'm a new RN without experience. MOH accepts nurses without experience but they need the board certificate (the paper na parang diploma). My application was turned down because I didn't have that cert. It will take 6 months (from the date of registration) to get this cert according to PRC.

hi morfern07.......what are the other requirements? I visited POEA website and the requirements posted there are 6 pcs 2x2 pic, photocopy of diploma, board certificate, rating and prc id and photocopy of employment cert. Is that all I need to pass at Window M? Also, are there a lot of applicants? Thanks!!!

Moh-hop Ksa

hi, i'm just new in here and i found this site when i was searching about MOH-HOP KSA... i am one of the applicant in SRO, i passed my resume last september and they texted me last month for an interview and luckily i passed it... it was an one on one interview and i could say that it was quite easy... i already had done my medical and now just waiting for my papers to be authenticated by the dfa...
honestly, i'm beginning to be scared coz as we now Saudi is not a safe place to work... like what we heard in the news and everything... but i'm willing to take the risk...
i just wanna ask somebody here who already worked there or someone who has an idea, what's the set up there working? i saw in my folder that i will be under MOH, what would that mean?... where will i be assigned?...
anyway, had lot of fun writing this message... hope to hear from anyone of you...

Re: Moh-hop Ksa

hello simpleRN

from what i've heard, you will not be certain of the exact place nor hospital where you will be assigned until you get there. a friend of mine who's been there before says that it's hard work but you'll gain experience well. One thing that's not appreciated though is the limited time you are allowed to shop or much less just go to places. 3 hours is the most that they can give you.

can you please pm the list requirements? and can you give a clue as to how they conduct the interview.

thanks

Re: Saudi- MOH

Hello, just wondering if MOH accepts male nurses without experience. Just graduated last mar, pass nle last jun. Im still waiting for my saudi visa. I applied as a nurse thru an agencylast oct. They kept on telling me that my visa is coming, but until now i'm still here. My medical already expired this month. Somehow i'm beginning to loose faith with my agency. From what i know MOH doesn't accept male nurses without experience. I could be wrong. thanks and Godbless

halloo...

hi meliza72

sorry for the late reply.... the requirements for SRO application are resume with job descriptions, photocopies of college and high school diplomas, tor, birth certificate, passport, training (if any), license, and 6 pcs. of 2x2 pictures.... when you pass that to POEA, bring all your original copies for comparison....

as to the interview, it was very easy... it's a one on one interview as i've said before... they will ask questions related to our profession about 20 questions and up... and they will ask you to answer 5 NCLEX questions from the laptop... and after that you may know whether you passed the interview or not...

if you passed they will immediately give you offer of appointment... it's kinda informal contract for you to sign coz the "real" contract is when you arrived there in Saudi... then you can proceed for medical and so on... and that's it...

hope i answered all your queries... and it help you a lot... gud luck...
