need to find agencies.. pls help

Hi, I'm new here at this forum.. I'd like to ask you guys if you have any recommendations for AGENCIES who doesn't require applicants to be currently employed to hospitals. I've had 2 years experience at medical surgical area and recovery room (PACU) before but I resigned so that I could concentrate on my exams. It's been a year since my resignation but I did a part time job as a Private Duty Nurse since then to be able to manage my time.
I've tried calling HCCA, MEDRP agency and HOPEWELL agency, but they did not consider me because they really require currently employed applicants. So, I really need to find a good agency that will reconsider my previous working experience.
Any suggestions would be highly appreciated. Thank you.

why use an agency when you can do it yourself and have more control where you live?

Thank you for the reply. May I ask how is the process of DIRECT HIRING from hospitals in the US? And if you are selected, how long does the processing usually takes? I've done some readings here and I actually realized that this is better than having an agency.

same question here.
And would not having an agency cost you more than having one?
Thanks...

Re: need to find agencies.. pls help

Processing time is not any different. You still need to go thru the immigration process.

Having an agency is always going to cost you more in most cases. They do not work for free, and if they are not paid 100% by the facility, then their money will be coming from your pay. Usually to the tune of about $5 per hour, or $10,000 per each year of the contract.

There is already much written on agencies and going for direct hire. Please just do a search for them, so that it does not need be repeated here again.

Hi, I know a good agent. Please send emails to lijunbsg@yahoo.com for more details. They have good programs for working in US and Singapore hospitals if you have good qualifications and experiences already, or work and study programs if either qualification or experience is not that good. A few of my friends joined the program and they quite enjoy. Quite good pay in Singapore, US or UK.
