Re: Makati Medical Center

First, did you passed your requirement to the training office? Second, what did you do after receiving the text message last December? They texted you December and you just followed it up last month? As in April? Didn't it ever occur to you to call the office last December? because they deployed CETN last December. You could have been part of that batch! And last 2 weeks ago, they deployed the first CETN batch for this year.

They might have a list... list of those who already finished their interview. They have criteria on who's to choose. And please.. dont brag that you got 85% on the board exam. They might have passed you on the first screening because you have 85% on the board exam, but your not responsible enough to follow it up the time you passed the initial screening. You dont follow it up 4 months after you receive a message from them. That is how people will see how interested you are to workwith them.... And there are other applicants that might be behind you, but the training office might see them more responsible than you.... They can see that these people who might have 75% on the board exam is very interested to work that those who got 85% and are very reluctant to get in any hospital just because they got a very high passing grade on the board exam.....

You misunderstood me. I'm this disappointed because I've been following up on my application since December, when I received their txt. I did what they told me to do which is to call as soon as I received their txt. They told me that I would be receiving a new txt by january which would say that I passed the 2nd screening. By January, I did not receive a txt so I called them ofcourse. They said that they postponed the start of CETN to April and I should relax, they haven't txted anybody about the 2nd screening yet. Even though that's what they told me, I called again the other day and twice a month until April just to be really sure and they had told me the same thing. When I called on the 3rd week of April, they told me that if I was not texted the week before that, that just means that I did not pass their 2nd screening and that I'm not participating in the CETN for this May. I was so perplexed because they themselves didn't even know exactly how someone passes the 2nd screening because they said it themselves; they don't give exams/interviews for the 2nd screening, it's the head of nursing who decides that. After only that, that the exams/interviews would be given.

Do you understand now why I'm asking what do they want from me, from us, the applicants? As you have read, I've been persistent to the point of pestering them. You might be confused for I'm sure this is not the process that you have undergone when you applied but believe me, it is now. I'm so disappointed because I've been holding on to this for so long (I passed my requirements June 2007) but I guess, with the situation right now, they really have to prioritize their graduates and put the others in the backseat as I have been told by them last week.

Re: Makati Medical Center

Nope! There's no misunderstanding here. Reread what you wrote.
"Then, when I tried to follow-up my application last month considering they said I already passed the 1st step right, they told me that if I did not receive a txt message about passing the second screening, it just means I'm not included on their May CETN training.
You never mentioned that you followed it up last December or January after you received a message. You only said, last month....

And tell me, who were you talking to at the phone? I know there are 3 nurses in the training office and one clerk. You must have spoken to the wrong person.

And yes, they sometimes have poor information desimination because when we applied for direct hiring, they dont know about it. Only the NSO knows about it.
