Even if you transfer to another school in the US, they do not accept all of your hours for transfer. Please make sure that the school has an established reputation and has been in business for more than five years and has a good pass rate with the NLE. And is accepted as being an accredited program in the US. Not all programs are being accepted in the US due to many problems over the past year or two.
Many actual programs will not permit you to transfer in. Your best bet would be a second courser program if you already have a Bachelor's in another field.

Subjects aren't normally credited if done outside the PI but the school's registrar will have to fully evaluate this first. What is your status? Do yo hold both a US and a PI passport or just a US passport because you may also have to apply for a student visa and Sept. is normally already the middle of the 1st semester of most programs so you are coming in late as well.

just my two cents.. if you're referring to PCHS which nearly had all the board takers last 2006 in complete dilemma then i don't suggest you enroll there.. i do have a neighbor who is graduating this october from that school and she told me that there are tons of problems that they're actually encountering these days.. given the scandal and the lose of integrity of the school she's just hoping for the best after she graduates.
i pass by St. Joseph's College along E. Rodgriquez Ave. almost everyday and i notice that they do have CNA(clinical nursing assistant) course and the usual BS Nursing course and their base hospital is St lukes.. i don't know if they do have graduates already or even board passers to boot but you can check them out and see if they would credit some if not most of your subjects.. goodluck!

hi corie, Im a second courser, hopefully, in Metropolitan Hospital College nursing, this june. colleges in the Phils accept transferees and credit your subjects that they offer. perpetual? why dont you inquire trinity, chinese gen, FEU, UST, UP, or other top schools in NCR? It depends in your location? metropolitan is one of the schools that accept second coursers that are working students.

Second courser programs require that the student already have a Bachelor's degree in another subject. That is when you can use credits that you have for the required subjects.
But when the student wishes to transfer during the Bachelor's degree, they are not issued credits for all of their hours. Same thing happens here in the US if you just wish to transfer to a school down the road. They will not accept all hours when the person wants to transfer, even if you transfer programs in the same university, not all hours transfer. This is the point that we are trying to make, as well as future job issues in the US.
School in the Philippines is also on a different time schedule from the US, the next session is next month. September will be in the middle of a term.

most of the schools you mentioned do not accept non-fresh grad applicants.. one of the few i approve of are UMAK, Delos Santos, UDMC/SACI since these are the school's that i was able to inquire with.. am currently with SACI since it didn't give me much of a hassle when i was applying for nursing..

I from the Chicago, IL and I arrived Manila last May 24. Finally decided and I enrolled at PWU yesterday. They have a nice trimestral program for second courser. I do have Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science. It's 2 years and 1 summer in between to complete the program.

hi sweenie, think i read your name from a gov forum. anyway, i first checked manila doctors, but they only offer block sections which is not suitable for a working student. PWU offers a whole day class and im only available for morning class. Metropolitan offers a special program for second coursers which i hope to get the morning sched. normally, they offer 5 to 10pm class. just keep in touch..
