Some of you techies out there please take pity me! I really need and want a hand-held device with drug info, nursing considerations, IV med directions, contraindications, adverse reactions, etc. that is designed for NURSING, not for docs. I need it to be very user friendly. If you know of a model and brand that i should buy or avoid, please advise. I'm clueless and i only have the money to make this purchase ONCE. Thanks!

I use the palm Tungsten T5. It has plenty of memory and suits all of my needs. You can got to www.skyscape.com to purchase applications. The benefit of purchasing from this website is that your programs cross reference each other. You can also find reviews of different handheld devices at www.cnet.com

The T5 is a very nice machine, but still a bit expensive. The Tungsten E is quite a bit less money and still has the bright, beautiful high-resolution screen and all the basic functions. Or the Zire 72, if you feel you must have the camera and mP3 capability. I'd recommend the Palm platform over Pocket PC. There is far more software out there written for Palm vs. Pocket PC, and far more FREE software!
