Treo 700w - good or bad???

Hi everyone - I am thinking of getting a Treo 700w smartphone. I have a cell phone and PDA now and use both extensively. Looking at the reviews, they seem universally negative: lots of re-boots, lost data, poor battery operation. Does anyone have anything good to say? I need the Treo 700w to support ePocrates Pro which I use daily also...commments. Good/bad are both welcome. Thanks much.

Re: Treo 700w - good or bad???

I have a friend who works for Sprint, and he said that a lot of people would return the Windows version because of various issues. He had the 700p which made me later buy it. I really like it because it does its job. It also has better resolution. I used to have the old Axim windows based, but as much as I enjoyed the features, I liked the fact that the Palm OS was faster.

Thanks much - I went and purchased the 700p and it was so easy to configure - and I'm not a techie person! I used it yesterday (typical day for me) and had no problems and plenty of battery at the end of the day. I love only having to charge one device too!!!

Thanks again.

That's the limtaition of the Tero 700 w because of the small internal memory of just only 32mb. if you still want a windows mobile treo on a cdma network, I think the veruizon version of the Treo 700wx is better because of the upgraded memory 64 mb. More memory means more room for the application to run and to operate resulting in a much stable and fast device.
