Re: Software for Pocket pc

I have the Ipaq hx2110. I got Taber's and the Lippincott Drug guide from www.skyscape.com. They have a couple of free things you can get, also.

Epocrates has a free medication reference available for download.

Merck Medicus (Mobile Merck Manual and Pocket Guide to Diagnostic Tests) is also available as a free download

I have gone to Merck & they require you to register before downloading. As part of the registration they need you to provide a state license number, AMA number, etc. Is there any way a student can do it?

They used to have a "student" version - where you just listed your school name but then I think it still listed a lic # so I left that part blank or put in a 0 and if I recalled, it seemed to work OK but that was over 2 years ago, so I'm not 100% sure it still works.

Good luck!!
