Lightbulb Please Help........Palm TX madness

Hi all,

I purchase my Palm TX a month in a half ago, it works well; but for some reason i cannot download new softwares to it. When I plug the hotsync cord in does not register, it is not recognize. If that is the case, how and where can I purchase a new cord? How can I tell if the cord has been damaged?

Thanks
