With my Palm in hand, ready to start the first semester of the ADN program on Sept. 1st, I am looking for a cheap program for a medical dictionary. Taber's was required, but I have several heavy books and would love to eliminate one to carry, lol.

I have been searching for free downloads that I've read about, but haven't found any medical dictionary programs. If anyone knows of any, or even a cheap or discounted site to buy pgrams, would greatly appreciate it!

Last minute prep in action

I've gotten a lot of my PDA programs from Skyscape. Usually around $49 but here's a link to the dictionary section and there are a couple for under that.

hope this helps a bit

A search for "medical dictionary" or even just "medical" using file sharing programs like Limewire should yield a fair number of results. Just use anti-virus software (AVG is free) to protect yourself from infected files.
