Question PDA for Pre-Nursing???

Did any of you use a PDA for your Pre-Nursing classes. What programs are out there that would be beneficial for me, if any at this point (BSN Prereqs and Coreqs). If I do buy one, what are some good ones to choose from?

Or should I just wait until I get to the nursing classes in 2 years?

Thanks

I'm not entirely sure, but you might be able to find a PDA with study guides for your pre-reqs, such anatomy & physiology, and chemistry helps. Is this what you are talking about?

I, for one, LOVE PDA's. Just last week I was drooling over one in Comp USA. That's the one I'd probably get (Palm LifeDrive). It had 4GB of memory. That'd help any nursing student. I have a CHEAP one now that I'm eager to replace, but I'm waiting for school to start or closer to school to buy one.

I LOVE new technology. I'd also love to have a cell phone camera, but that's a different topic. Good luck and I hope this helps!

Yes, thats what I meant. Guides for Science classes and maybe even one for spanish, psy, med term etc... Where can I find programs at? I'd like to be able to look around to see what types are offered.

Hi Princess,

I'm a recent grad L PN and I bought a PDA to help me in the clinical setting. I have a drug program (Davis'), lab values program (Mosby's Nurse Manual), medical dictionary (Stedman's), & a drug calculation c weight converter as well. The service I buy from is www.skyscape.com, The drug calculation & weight tool is called Archimedes & it is free. What I REALLY love about all the different programs is that you can cross-reference. If you don't get enough info from one program, just hit the cross-reference link, & bam you get even more info!

HTH!
