PDA to easily type things.....

I would like to get a PDA that has the keywords on them to make it easier to type. Kinda like a phone to text. There are so many out there what is my best bet. I have more schooling to do for grad and would like to make index card on the go. Any one do this? What PDA do you have? I had a plam zire 72 and it died on me. SO what are the good ones out there? any suggestion would be appreciated. thanks

Re: PDA to easily type things.....

I've tried typing into my PDA, even for just my flashcards, even bought a Bluetooth keyboard for it, but I ended up just using my laptop for the heavy duty typing then using the sync to put the info into the PDA. I ended up entering info directly into my PDA only on occasion. It was just too much of a pain to deal with the small screen and lack of formatting options.

As for predictive text like use in phone and even Microsoft Office on the laptop, I found that of very little use when I am entering names of meds, procedures, and diseases. At times it confused me and usually slowed me down. Of course people work in different ways so what may not work for me may work for you. So if you can try to to use someone else's PDA and try to use it like you would want to.
