Re: Palm Z22 is this enough?

NO it is not enough. very basic/entry level palm. You cannot add any memory at all.
I got one Christmas '05, tried it for a bit, then bought a TX. I've got drug book, tabers and a bunch of other stuff on it <but those are the two I use most often in LTC>
With the Z22, I couldn't have the drug guide and the tabers: not enough room.

Re: Palm Z22 is this enough?

The most important thing is to get something that does everything you need it to do. I don't know much about the Z22, but if the above poster said it didn't have enough room then you might want to look into it.

I don't know how much the Z22 is, but I ordered a Palm TX from BuyDig.com for $254 while most other websites sell them for $299, so you might want to look into that. I figure I can take the $45 I saved and use it to buy Taber's medical dictionary or something.

Just write down everything you want and need, then look for it, then buy the one with the best value. That's what I'd do. But I'd buy something decent; better to buy something more expensive than buy something cheap and regret it shortly after.

Try eBay!!!

Re: Palm Z22 is this enough?

Z22 is an "entry level" palm. Price point of 99 dollars, but there is NO WAY to add memory <no slot for a memory card> My husband had bought me a Z22 since it was so inexpensive and to see if it was something I would really use. I quickly discovered I would use it, but could not, D/T the lack of space for programs.

Oh, I didn't know about that.

Okay, I wouldn't buy the Z22 if there's no memory slots because that's important. Unless you don't need it, but if you want to put programs on it, memory slots for cards would help.

How much are you willing to spend?

I bougt my Palm TX off of BuyDig.com for $254, and it normally cost $299 anywhere else, so check out that site regardless.
