Palm TX....Questions

I know these questions are probally stupid but I just do not know any thing about pdas & really need a little help.I want to get one... thinking about Palm TX.
Can you use programs from Medical Wizards like Complete Nurse Bundle? I have Vista on my laptop will this matter? I was reading & seems like there is some compatibility problem when downloading????
I work in the ER so if you have any suggestions for software or a pda that would be good in my area....I am all ears! Thanks for your help!

Re: Palm TX....Questions

I have a palm tx and LOVE it. I"m not familiar with the software you mentioned, but I am aware of issues with Vista. Try googling "palm and vista" and see what you get. Sorry I couldnt help more.

Good luck!
Richard

Re: Palm TX....Questions

This is the site I was speaking of www.medicalwizards.com
I am not real computer/gadget savvy to say the least. I don't have a clue what I would use bluetooth for!
I just want a good source to pull info from when & where I need it.... & it seems like the palm tx is highly recommended. I will just keep reading & searching! Surely I can figure this out!
Thanks for your reply!

As long as you've go the current hotsync you won't have any problems. The medical wizard software is good if you don't have a lot of protocols with doses and calculations in them THey are great if you have to do all the calculations yourself on all the meds.
