Palm T/X or Tungsten E2?

Hello,
I'm really considering a PDA for nursing school instead of a laptop. I think it will be a lot more useful for clinicals, weigh a heck of a lot less, and be very portable. I will also be getting a keyboard so I can take notes during class. I was wondering which of the two (T/X or Tungsten E2) would you all recommend? Are there more programs/software/downloads for one in particular? Which one offers the most bang for my buck? Thanks so much!

Do you need Wireless internet on your PDA?

TX has Wi-Fi which is handy if you have a wireless router at home, or you frequent hot spots. You can surf the web or whatnot from your device.

If you don't need the Wi-Fi, the E2 is a nice unit.

You might want to check to see if the hospitals in the area you want to work (or are working) have free wifi.
The hospitals in Tucson have free wifi so I'll be going with a pda/pocketpc that has wireless builtin.

Re: Palm T/X or Tungsten E2?

Thanks everyone! I just purchased a Palm T/X and it should be here tomorrow! I can't wait to start playing around with it and make a list of all the software programs I want for school!

Thanks again!

good choice. you will use that wifi enough to make it worth the small difference in price. also, the T|X has a larger screen. Enjoy!
