I Just won a Palm TX for $197 off Ebay!! I'm soooo excited--I can't wait to start using it--any tips?? I've read all the threads and visited the free download sites, but I want the absolute BEST nursing software I can find.
I'm an LPN working in a VERY short staffed LTC and I want to get my RN ASAP!! Thanks a bunch, guys-you are always so helpful and kind!

How well are you coming along with it? What software have you downloaded & what do you feel is most helpful for you? Have you had any problems with the unit? Sofware? Anything??? If so, Please share how you resolved them.

I have 3 PDA's on my mind... Considering the fact that you cannot upgrade them, I'm trying to make the best decision.

I've been thinking about getting a Palm TX too so if it works good for you post it so I know because the more good things I hear about them the better. I don't really care that they're not an amazing media hub like a pocket PC, all I care about is how they'll be a portable med dictionary, drug guide, ect.. Plus the ability go go wi-fi is pretty awesome too. That's all I need.

By the way I found a site that seems to sell Palm TX's for $254 and apparently they're ligit because C-Net represents them.. Normally I like to try things out before I buy them but I might just get this because it seems pretty good.

Of course there are lots of handhelds that are much better out there but you have to figure in price and practicallity and what you'll actually use it for. The Palm TX seems pretty decent to me.. Wish it had a longer battery life though, but it's still pretty decent I hear.
