How's your Palm t/x?

Hi!
I have been and am tired of searching for 'that PDA'.
It'll be my first one.
I intend to get a Clie however i learned Sony stopped its manufacture.
Now I am thinking of Palm t/x.
I have read previous posts and i would like to hear some updates.
Please do share some feedback regarding your exprience with it.
I have read negative reviews bout having to do frequent resets etc...
Anyone using it without a problem at work?
Thanks for your help.

I've had mine since the day after Christmas. Love it!

The only reset issue I've had is while using the Web Browser via wireless network. Sometimes it locks things up.

I love the DrugGuide, Dict, and med calculator.

Worth every penny, and then some.

One piece of advice: Get a hard case for it! You WILL drop it or sit on it, etc. RhinoSkin makes a good one.

I love mine. I don't use it as much as I'd like to, but I do use it. Love the long battery life between chargings (probably because I'm not using it ALL the time, lol!). It works well w/ wireless. I've had no reset problems. I have no regrets about its purchase.

I have never had to reset mine, other than when it got dropped into a large bowl of water, and came back to life the next day. Would never consider another manufacturer for this reason.

Great for showing pictures of my kids, plus any information is right at my fingertips.

I use the hard case that comes with it.

I love it.!!!!!!!!

Re: How's your Palm t/x?

I got a Palm TX for christmas, and it's been rock solid. The only problem that I've had was that it started freaking out after I deleted Epocrates (not enough Nursing specific considerations) - it would just reset at random intervals. Turned out I had left a couple of files behind and without their mates, it was causing weird behavior. Once I got rid of them, it cleared right up. That's my one gripe with the Palm OS compared to a desktop OS - deleting applications is a matter of going through and removing *every single file* one at a time. Programs should come with uninstall apps.

Battery life is amazing, and the built in wireless works really well.

One tip on the hard cases, though - stay away from the silver hard case that Palm makes. Mine's already broken - the latch is a thin piece of plastic and it broke off with normal use. A friend has one and hers broke even soon than mine. I'm gonna take it back to Staples and try to get a new one.

I have a metal case from Palm and its got a magnetic clip - so there is nothing to break - mine's invincible! (hopefully)
