To be honest, I really debated getting one. My cell phone contract with Cingular was up in July, I needed a PDA for nursing school starting in August, but I decided not to go the way of the IPhone.

Some people have to have the latest and greatest now. For me, maybe in a year or so, when the apps are out and the kinks are clear. For now I'm sticking with my new LG Shine and Palm TX.

Commercial is funny but iPhone is awesome. You get what you pay for in this case. I prefer an iPod Touch with all the same features minus the phone and camera (great for places that don't allow them) and minus a monthly fee of any kind.

One nit pick - that guy was not using the scientific calculator. Tilt the phone to the side and the scientific one comes up.
